flea | (no subject)

She's crawling... it's a really clumsy crawl, and sometimes involves backwards as well as forwards, but it's definitely classic form. Mostly after the cat, who is going to have to get a little less blase soon. Also saying "ma ma ma" in addition to "da da da" and something that sounds like "uh oh." Seems better, though an incredibly picky eater today. Low-grade fever only (100.5).

I am tired, tired, tired. Grumpy at mr. flea for self-indulgence (I deliberately bought expensive organic graham crackers for the fussa so we wouldn't snork them as we had been, and he started eating them as he was feeding her. After I asked him not to!). Partly just jealous since I have no self-indulgence. There's not much I want to do. Except eat ice cream, and I can't buy any because mer. flea will snork it. mr. flea has taken the fussa for a walk so I can nap, so I must do that now.

Did garden a bit. Ate some lettuce I grew. Beans (several sets of true leaves, 4 inches tall), tomatoes, cucmbers, zukes look great. Planted the rest of the beans and new beets and carrots. Whacked back the oregano which was threatening to eat New York. Last night did some serious bush pruning in the front of the house, which I think looks much better and not just hacked at.
