hair woes

The usual post-partum hair falling out continues apace, and we now have the (also usual) post-partum hair breakage beginning. Right now it's already noticeable at my part in the front. Also, my grey is creeping forward - it was all hidden under my floppy hair, but now it's more towards the part, so more visible.

All of which is to say, do you think I could pull off a Mia Farrow/pixie style cut?

Here is my face: http://www.flickr.com/photos/casperflea/268121797/

Here's the haircut (maybe not QUITE that short in the front): http://toronto.fashion-monitor.com/news.php/Celebrity_Style/2005120807natalie_portman

I am just sick of dealing with hair right now. I have good bones, even if I don't look like Natalie Portman - what say you all?

I liked the "pretty short but not quite pixie" look you had when you came here in August the year Casper turned 1. That was long enough in front for a barette, but pretty convenient.

I think, with your general cowlickiness, that anything particularly short will have personality at the very least; so I think it will be hard to go wrong.

That was the post-patrum hair breakage cut for Casper. I liked it sometimes but thought I looked horrible with it in pictures (the humidity of the summer made me fuzzy). Also I could never get the dude to cut it short enough, especially in the back (HATE. Wisps on my neck.)

I think this cut: here would work on you. (Really, any cut that your hair would do that would look good on Jamie Lee Curtis would look good on you, as you two have similar face shapes.)

I second this. When I saw the Natalie cut, I thought you would need fringe. I think the JLC cut would look wonderful.

I like the Jamie Lee cut, too.

I was going to urge Natalie, with lipstick, but the JLC is so very you!

Occasionally I miss having hair long enough to move. And then I remember.
