grrrr
The nanny called in sick at 7am, and mr. flea talked to RF and called me at work at 8:15, and asked if I could do the afternoon and RF do the morning because they have an appointment and he really needs to go to work today and he can't cover the afternoon and make it into work. So said yes and got very stressed out about changed plans (I have a real problem with spontaneity and last-minute changes) as well as walking to RF's house (in the rain) and then watching the 2, then 3 including one rowdy, kids on a rainy day, and then walking home with Casper (in the rain). So then mr. flea called back to he'd do the afternoon after all, since it was raining and he didn't want me to walk. Without me even asking! But I am still all full of stress from earlier, and can't get it to go away!
Advantage of day care center: no Operation Sick Nanny days. And we do have a very hardy kid, so hopefully few Operation Sick Casper days. Touch wood - she hasn't been sick in AGES, not even a runny nose all fall. Mr. flea, on the other hand, has that wheezy sound in his breath right now, which I find both upsetting and annoying. Maybe I should breastfeed him.
Also, how can it be right for me to be RAVENOUSLY hungry at 10 am when I ate a good breakfast at 6:45?
Must do deep yogic breathing and expel stress. Oooooooommmmmmmmmm.
