This morning, I found a pair of Polar Bear overalls in Casper's dresser.
I showed them to her excitedly explaining that they had polar bears on
them and how cool they were.

My ploy worked and she immediately wanted to put them on. She loves
them and she looks very cute, accessorized with a red turtleneck and
her sneakers.

Yay, Daddy as Fashion Consultant.

This summer, I had to put individual outfits (shirt, shorts, pair of socks) in individual bins so DH could dress squeaky every morning. No onesies, because snaps were beyond him. No overalls because straps were beyond him. Dresses were okay because they were often easy, except the Escher dress with no buttons and crossed straps because that, again, was beyond him. (here's the dress. And here she is with Daddy.) But they had mostly good summer days, and there were very few panicked calls to Mommy's office wondering OMG WTF IS CLOTHING? So apparently it worked.
