Have I mentioned we've all been more or less sick all week? Casper is more or less well now. I am less well - today is sickest yet. I HATE being sick. Especially being just sick enough to be annoyed by my sickness, and not sick enough to get out of doing anything because I'm sick. mr. flea is the sickest, as usual. That boy is the typhoid Mary for our family. He's so sickly. It's because his mother smoked and didn't breastfeed him, you know. (I sort of joke, but sort of - don't.)
New clever and/or cute Casper tricks:
Climbs into pleather lay-z-boy type chair by herself and rocks in it, looking pleased with self.
Yesterday, mr. flea said, "I've read you this book so many times. Why don't you go get Kitten's Nap and I'll read that one." And she did, picked it out from the pile on the table.
Of the activites in "From Head to Toe" she can: turn her head, bend her neck, clap her hands, thump her chest, wriggle her hips, stomp her foot.
Words I think she says knowing what they mean: cracker, quack, book, up. Most of these are not precisely phonetically accurate, shall we say, but I think she says them with intent.
