I have seen it stated that Sasha dolls are designed to scale, 1/4 scale. A 16 inch Sasha if at 1/4 scale would be a 64 inch human, which is 5 foot 4, which is a teenager at a minumum. So that doesn't actually make a great deal of sense - they are clearly children. Actually, the oldest ones are 15 inch - they've "grown" over the course of the production. Anyway the Sashas do resemble an elementary school child (7-10) in proportion to me - Casper is very slim and limb-y at this point and will only become more so as she gets older. Not a younger kid, though. The AG dolls have a more traditional doll body, which IMO is more like a 3-5 year old in proportion (though the characters are meant to be ca. 10).

Oh god, now I'm going to have to go home and take waist and hip and all measurements of a Sasha doll and multiply them by 4. Sigh.
