Dillo is working on being able to recite the entire corpus of nursery rhymes contained in the Opie/Wells Mother Goose. He can do a bunch - his favorite is Hey Diddle Diddle.

I sing along to that version of Hey Diddle Diddle stealing a swing melody from a Sesame Street cartoon. Matilda likes several of the lesser known rhymes like "Down at the Station" and "Cat's in the Cupboard" and "Sally go Round the Moon" (Matilda go round the moon, in our house.)

What's up with all the hostility, Casper!? Be nice to your mom. She only wants good things for you.

Tell your husband that Emmett and I were savoring the memory of his peach/blueberry pie just yesterday.

For a minute, I thought Casper called you a whore. But then I realized she meant horse. (Right?)

Oh, and that reminds me, I was walking Ellie and Frisco out of daycare the other day and Ellie tells the little boy and his mom behind us, "My mommy's taking me bike riding." The little boy responds with, "My mommy's fat" and then his mom said "I think they can see that". It was so awkward - I just sort of mumbled something about kids saying awkward things at awkward moments.
