We're going camping at cabins and yurts this summer, though that's more because that way there's a door that closes and we don't have to worry about the baby fleeing into traffic (camping with Herself, aged 1 1/2, was nerve-wracking.)

My in-laws are ordering an RV; I get the impression that the big advantage is that you don't have to setup and teardown every time you stop for the night. And people around here like them because they're much more weather-tight.

Mind you, I get weather-tight by renting a yurt from the state for $50/weekend, rather than dropping $20K on an RV. *shrug*
