Tongue girl
Casper is working on some new teeth - I can see both upper lateral incisors through the skin, and she's all about the tongue last night and today, so I expect an appearance soon. No sign of the other front tooth, though, so she'll look pretty funny if they come in fast!
Books Casper likes best right now: Hug, Goodnight Gorilla, Hairy MacLary from Donaldson's Dairy. She doesn't seem very interested in the funny language of Hairy MacLary, but loves the picture of the tomcat the band of dogs runs into ("Scarface Claw.") She pulls non-board books off the shelf now (Corduroy, Slow Loris, A Picture for Harold's Room), and I read them but she loses interest after a few pages and crawls around the room to play with other things. She needs more board books and baby-short books - birthday coming soon will remedy I expect.
