The funny thing is, the school is actually like 60% free/reduced price lunch, and when we have field trips with a fee, the teacher sends a note asking us to contribute double if we can to sponsor a less fortunate student in the class. I have no idea what the deal with the snack is. But I'd bet we spent $40 on stuff at the grocery today.
