another traumatic Monday morning
Casper started freaking out, in her bed, when she heard me push the shower curtain. "Don't take a shower!!" Luckily it was only 6:50 by that point so I had a lot of time to jolly her along, take a shower (she cried, but did not actually sob, while I did so), and be on time for work. Makes me very worried for the transition to the new school, which starts tomorrow. Today is Elmo's party with chocolate chip pancakes, and probably too many presents from the nanny.
Conversation:
C: Remember when Buzz Lightyear broke his arm?
f: But the toys fixed it for him.
C: Yeah.
f: Woody broke his arm, too.
C: Yeah.
f: But Andy fixed it.
C: He fixed it with thread and a noodle!
LJ annoyance: I have already made a post for Dec. 25, to account for Christmas presents received and remember who I need to thank. But now every time I try to post anything in the current time, I have to remember to backdate it. Can't LJ understand the concept of the future??
