the softer side of Casper
mr. flea's sister sent one of her regular shipments of clothes outgrown by her daughter, Casper's cousin who is almost exactly a year older and is tall too. It's a great arrangement. I washed the things because my SIL's laundry detergent has a funny (to me) smell. I was folding the laundry this afternoon, and Casper said, "I want puppet." What she meant was the long-sleeved top that's orange polyester shaggy fleece and really does look like the "pelt of a muppet" that Willow so notably wore. I swear to you Casper came up with calling this garment "puppet" all by herself. (It is so ugly and unsuited to her coloring. I hope she doesn't fall in love with it. I may have to pre-emptorily donate it to Goodwill. I mean, the arrangement with my SIL isn't perfect, unfortunately.)
In other news she's really started a regular finger-sucking thing - all 4 fingers of )I think) either hand, tucked in up past the first knuckle, and she sort of chews on them. Does it while we read and when she's anxious.
